Turkeys Nest
A small water dam: The turkey's nest filled up in the last rain.
Contributor's comments: A "Turkeys Nest" is a small dam next to a much larger dam on a cattle property in Central Qld. Water was pumped by a Windmill from the large dam into the Turkeys Nest to keep the Water Trough for the cattle full.
Contributor's comments: Also used in SA, possibly only outback areas, but I suspect this term is much more widely used than just SW of WA.
