Contributor's comments: I was raised in Perth and my father, also from Perth, referred to me often as a ratbag.

Contributor's comments: I'm from Adelaide and I definitely grew up with this term in the late 60s and early 70s. I haven't heard it spoken out loud for a while though. "You little ratbag!"
