Contributor's comments: I remember hearing "hide-and-go-seek" as a child in Sydney, but it was more commonly called the shorter "hide-and-seek".

Contributor's comments: [Perth informant] When I was a lad it was called hide-and-seek. Hide-and-go-seek was only heard in American TV shows. We never had up either, the searcher was he.

Contributor's comments: As a kid at primary school in the fifties, we called it 'Hidey-go-seek' That was in the New England area of New South Wales.
