Contributor's comments: When commencing the lunch time cricket game in the playground, there was always a heated discussion about whether to play "tipsy" or not. Invariably, due to the short time period of play, tipsy would be agreed upon. In this style of cricket, you must run whenever you hit the ball. Unfortunately, this led to many people using tipsy as a means to run out their batting partners! Another variation of tipsy came about - if there was a runout, the hitter of the ball was always out!

Contributor's comments: I only know this word to mean slightly drunk.
