Contributor's comments: This is also used in SE Qld by school children. Usually pronounced in-toe.
Contributor's comments: I went to primary school in the Western suburbs of Brisbane, and when people were playing a game of handball, and someone walked through it, if the player stuffed up their move, they could blame it on that person walking through by yelling "In-to!" My understanding is that it's somehow short for "interruption" - ie the innocent passerby interrupts their game.
Contributor's comments: In Sydney in the 70s we used to say "innos" - which was short for "interference".
