Contributor's comments: I remember that we used this word as children in the 1960s. It was very common on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria.
Contributor's comments: In the 50's Melbourne area "gogga" meant any little crawling insect. My brother would never eat passionfruit icecream as he thought the seeds were "goggas".
Contributor's comments: I grew up on the Mornington Peninsula in the 50s and 60s too, but I remember the word as 'mog'.
